  • Wicomico County Concerned Landowners

The Wicomico County Concerned Landowners (WCCL) is comprised of farmers & landowners, builders & Realtors, as well as an attorney, a banker, an appraiser, and a soil specialist in Wicomico County who are concerned about legislation currently in front of the Wicomico County Council. We believe this legislation is flawed and DEVALUES land - OPPOSE Bill 2009-5. It places the burden of land preservation entirely on the backs of the farmers and landowners. The WCCL has proposed another plan which is a sliding scale, density formula that rewards land preservation. The more land you set aside, then the higher density you are allowed.
